Ticketer, the UK bus and coach industry’s leading provider of real-time information, fleet management and smart ticketing solutions, is proud to announce achieving a major milestone: the sale of its 8 billionth ticket.
Sold on-board Arriva Merseyside, the achievement marks Ticketer’s enduring contribution and longstanding partnership with not only Arriva but the industry as a whole since the company’s inception in 2009.
Ticketer’s ability to process such a high volume of transactions also speaks to the reliability and scalability of its products. Whether developing industry leading real-time information, ticketing and fleet managements tools or leveraging data to enhance service delivery, Ticketer continually supports customers in providing superior service to their passengers every day.
Enduring Impact on the Bus and Coach Industry
“Reaching 8 billion tickets is a remarkable achievement, but this milestone isn’t just about the numbers – it reflects the enduring partnerships we’ve created, our continuous innovation and the confidence that our customers have placed in our technology over the years,” says Kelly Hanna, Ticketer CEO.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate this moment with Arriva and the entire bus and coach community, and are excited to keep driving innovation that makes a positive impact for operators, authorities and passengers alike.”
Looking Towards the Future
Looking ahead, this commitment to continual innovation can be seen in Ticketer’s latest developments which will be showcased at Euro Bus Expo 2024 next month.
Visitors to Ticketer’s stand will be able to learn about their franchising offering, which was created by extending the existing Ticketer Portal framework and introducing a hierarchical view plus ‘Franchise Owner’ and ‘Franchise Operator’ roles, so operators and authorities alike can easily manage the complexities of running services within a regulated environment.
Additionally, their enhanced Road Restriction Alerts solution will be on stand, now with ‘Hazard’ and ‘Navigational’ restrictions in addition to height and width ones typically associated with low bridges, as well as their new suite of Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards, the Ticketer Insights Hub, and the latest addition in their on-bus ticketing line-up, the Ticketer Next Generation ETM.
“We’re thrilled to be part of Euro Bus Expo 2024,” added Kelly. “We have a lot of exciting developments to share, and are looking forward to showcasing our commitment to helping authorities and operators achieve success and deliver exceptional service to passengers through our latest solutions.”
