Just as Ticketer is marking its 10-year Anniversary, the company is being listed in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 which ranks Britain’s private technology, media and telecoms companies with the fastest-growing sales.
The Ticketer Team were told the exciting news at a family event to celebrate Ticketer’s 10 years in business, the day before the full Tech Track 100 league table was published in The Sunday Times (8th September).
John Clarfelt, Ticketer’s Managing Director, comments: “I can’t put into words just how grateful I am to our customers and suppliers, and how proud I am of our Ticketer Team. Every single one of them has contributed to our success, so it was particularly fitting to give them this amazing news at our celebration this weekend. Sales of the Sunday Times will be up by at least 150 this week!”
Ticketer has gone from strength to strength since its launch, recording an average growth of 50% year on year. To accommodate its extraordinary growth, Ticketer has moved offices no fewer than 14 times, although usually just downstairs, next door, across or down the road. In that time the company has issued over two billion tickets, received fifteen industry awards, created nine show-stopping exhibition stands, formed a 15-strong in-house ukulele band and liberated over 8,000 rubber ducks.
John concludes: “It’s been one hell of a ride, but the journey continues. We have lots of exciting new technological developments to come, so who knows where we will all be in another 10 years’ time.”
