Ticketer, Women in Transport, and Bus Users UK are Finalists at the Transport Ticketing Global Awards for their ‘Women Behind the Wheel: Driving Diversity in Transport‘ campaign.
Ticketer, a leading provider of intelligent ticketing solutions, in partnership with Women in Transport and Bus Users UK, have been named as finalists in Transport Ticketing Global Awards “Best Equity and Inclusion Initiative” category for their campaign ‘Women Behind the Wheel: Driving Diversity in Transport’.
This marks a significant recognition for Ticketer and its collaborators, as the campaign seeks to address the gender disparity within the UK bus industry and empower women in the sector, fostering a more inclusive and diverse working environment whilst setting higher standards for female representation in positions of authority, to create better passenger experiences for women.
The campaign, part of a first-of-its-kind partnership between Ticketer, Bus Users UK, and Women in Transport, consists of a series of videos, which were filmed on location at Reading Buses. The campaign features interviews with key figures from Bus Users UK, Women in Transport, Ticketer, and Reading Buses, shedding light on the experiences of women within the sector and the importance of fostering a more diverse and inclusive workforce.
